Still figuring out physics the hard way?

Moto Physics turns motorsport into your physics textbook — aerodynamics, powertrains, tyres, and race strategy, taught through real cars instead of generic problems.

Moto Physics chapters home screen

Six ways to learn how a race car actually works

Test yourself, ask questions, get answers

Every chapter ends in a mini-quiz with unlimited retries and hints — no dead ends, just guided learning. Stuck on a concept? Ask the built-in AI Tutor, which runs entirely on-device and answers using only what the app has taught you.

Knowledge test and AI tutor screen

Race your own setup

Drive real circuit shapes — Monza, Silverstone, Spa — in Mini Racer, an arcade-style driving game where your STEM Racing car's mass and drag actually change how it handles.

Mini Racer track selection screen

Complex topics made simple

Small-angle approximations, gradient forces, rolling resistance — explained the way an engineer would explain it to a friend, with rules of thumb you'll actually remember.

Chapter lesson content screen

Test your model car

Plug in your own CO2-canister racer's mass, drag coefficient, and rolling resistance, then launch it down a 20-metre digital track to see exactly how it'd perform.

STEM Racing simulator screen

Adjust formulas in real time

Drag, rolling resistance, gradient, traction, net force — plot every formula against each other on one live graph, and watch the curves move as you adjust each variable.

Physics simulator comparison graph screen

Every screen, built around one idea: learn by driving

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 6, 2026

Moto Physics ("the App," "we," "us") is an educational app that teaches motorsport and vehicle physics through interactive lessons, quizzes, a physics simulator, and motorsport data features. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Summary

The App does not require an account, does not collect personal information on our servers, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not sell or share any data with third parties. Everything the App remembers about you — your name, your lesson progress, your quiz history, and your saved AI Tutor conversations — is stored only on your own device.

Information You Provide

  • Name: When you first open the App, you're asked for a name so the App can greet you personally. This name is stored only in your device's local app storage. It is never transmitted anywhere, never linked to an account, and is deleted if you delete the App.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App saves the following data locally, on your device only, so your progress persists between sessions:

  • Which chapters and sub-chapters you've unlocked and completed
  • Your mini-quiz and Knowledge Test answers and history
  • Your saved AI Tutor conversation history
  • Your best lap times and settings in the Mini Racer / STEM Racing simulators
  • Your app preferences (such as light/dark appearance)

None of this information ever leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and cannot be viewed by us. You can permanently erase this data at any time via the "Reset All Progress" option in the App's Settings, or by deleting the App from your device.

A small subset of this data (your selected practice track and best lap time, your current lesson progress, and upcoming race information) is shared, using Apple's on-device App Groups feature, between the App and its Home Screen widgets — so your widgets can display up-to-date information. This sharing happens entirely on your own device and never involves our servers or any third party.

On-Device AI Tutor

The App includes an optional AI Tutor feature, powered entirely by Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework on compatible devices. Your questions and the tutor's responses are processed locally on your device's hardware. Nothing you type into the AI Tutor is sent to us, to Apple's servers, or to any other party. Conversation history is saved locally on your device only, for your convenience, and can be deleted at any time from within the App.

Third-Party Motorsport Data

The App's Formula 1 Data features (schedules, standings, and race results) fetch publicly available racing data from two independent, free, third-party data services:

  • Jolpica-F1 (api.jolpi.ca)
  • OpenF1 (api.openf1.org)

These requests retrieve public sports data only — no personal information about you is sent as part of these requests. Standard technical information inherent to any internet connection (such as your device's IP address) may be visible to these third-party services as part of normal network communication, in the same way it would be for any website you visit. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the practices of these independent services.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The App contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not use your data to build a profile of you, and we do not share any information with advertisers.

Children's Privacy

The App is educational and suitable for a general audience, including students. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because the App simply does not transmit personal information to us in the first place — everything is stored locally on-device as described above.

Data Security

Because your data is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, its security is governed by your device's own security features (such as your device passcode/biometric lock and iOS's standard app sandboxing).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date above.
